    I'm looking to buy a new cat-back for my car and i don't wanna spend 1k+ $$$
so i was thinking of going with a single exit. i was interested in the Invidia N1 but was wondering how much of a difference there is between the Race and Street versions. Welcoming any suggestions as well :/

I'm pretty sure Alex had one a few years ago. He made a thread about them.

I had the street one if I remember it correctly. Pretty sweet exhaust with an even sweeter sound. It's loud, it's aggressive and it'll make you happy as a dog in a cat's litter box if that's what you're after. I thought I had photos but I cannot seem to find them right now. And it was for GD fitment.

However, why dont you just look at getting a catted downpipe and searching for used catbacks here, IWSTI and NASIOC?

My car is still almost brand new so I'm gonna ride the warranty for a while :)
But yea I'm gonna search around for some used catbacks, only thing is that they are hard to find for the GR sedans :/

I forgot the main thing I wanted to ask. And that was if anyone running the N1 race (or similarly loud exhaust) had any problems with the popo. I heard the cops down south are more lenient when it comes to loud or aftermarket exhausts. I was wondering if you guys had any problems?

I had by far, one of the loudest (and at times the most obnoxious) Subaru Exhausts out there and was never once hassled by the cops. Even blowing by one at WOT once he didn't even look twice. Probably thought it was a harley riding passed him

fixed for you, a la your signature.

past signifies place, passed is the past tense of pass therefore a verb. in your sentence, riding is your verb. where is PAST

but you're right i don't know of any cops that have pulled over anyone for a noise violation due to exhaust, unless it is obvious there is none present. sure they might pull you over for a noise violation if you are revving/racing/speeding, but for simply driving down the road daily, i doubt it. decibel levels apply to motorcycles too, and frankly its just too far out of hand for them to legally pull over people for noise violations ONLY any more

I had a Blitz Nur Spec R with no resonators or anything and was never pulled for noise in GA.
