After the install day I swung by TopSpeed and Doug tuned my alcohol injection. I am dying to see what I can run with the new found power. Last time there I ran a 12.7@111 in the 100 degree heat. My car should be 100lbs lighter and I have 40 more whp and torque than the last time. My car now vs stock wrx: My car with Deadbolt vf22 before alcohol injection vs my car with vf34: This is what I ran the 12.7 with.

I will probably be there. I'm going to do the helper spring mod, and get a retune. I'm calling trey tomorow and getting a tune done since I have an ecutek. Hopefully they won't be too busy with all these wrx's from myrtle beach coming to get tuned... hnoes:
I may tag along to check it out if Im free. If the temps are in the high 60's ill get a run in or two. Esp if bambooi wont need his B/C any more!

how many launches at the strip? do u dump it or burn it? any slipping on launch? i think mine slips on launch so im tryin to avoid much drag racing until i have enough money saved up
its probably got over 40 drag launches. I slip... Now that I think about it... Its probably got over 50 at least... Most of them where on stage 2. Its got about...15 on stage 4....

for me 12.8@ 104 12.9@105 I raced and beat michael jenkins from the falcons on the 12.8 run. I am cutting 1.87 sixty foots which can improve... 13.5 for the fxt w/ vf39 15s for the lgt low 12s for genya
Ordering a new tq converter soon. With the auto I cant lock in the TC off the line. I loosing a lot of time on the start. It was running 15sec at 95mph. With the new TQ I can lounch under boost. For now I will keep on the road coarses
Everytime I go to Commerce, I leave there saying that i'll never go back. Poor track prep and half-ass everything else leads to a bad situation overall. I was getting so much wheel hop on the starting line that my car jumped out of first gear twice. It felt like I broke the tranny. thankfully I didn't break anything, but i'm done with commerce. 1 out of 3 runs was a complete run, and it was a crappy one at that. It's back to Silver Dollar for me
well it gets faster on at night... plus traction improves... I spun all 4 off the line all the way to the 60 foot and so did genya... Percieverence(SPELLING) is the key.

Hehe yeah its not too bad, it doesnt slip at all on 93, mainly only in 5th on hi boost. But im too in love with hi to stay away lol
Obviously I didn't get to make it. I had to go to Dallas last minute. I am definately going to the Import showdown. We should organize a caravan for that one. Mike K
