I bought these STi corner splitter from SOG ($125+tx). I really liked how these two pieces make front end much meaner looking on STi. Big hood scoop is nice as well, but IMO front lip and these splitter stands out much more. yea yea yea~ I wanna be STi. lol~ newayzz.. Is there anyone who installed these pieces on their WRX?? since these are made specifically for STi bumper, I need to modify (like drilling and cutting) my bumper to fit these in. I already cut my bumper for FMIC, so I'm not so afraid to cut them, but i'm looking for the easiest way to install these with high reliability. People say that I can use strong double side tape, so I'm thinking about using them. anyone wants to help me in person??
to install properly, there are 3 tabs at the top that you'll have to cut new slits for in the crease of your bumper (not hard just need a dremel). there are also 2 or 3 plastic "pop screws" on each that can be cut off so you don't actually have to dremel into the face of your bumper. most people including myself cut them off. otherwise thats all you have to do, i didn't use double sided tape or anything, just the screws that go inside the wheelwell and underneath the bumper
