Wondering if anyone knew of a Stage 2 map the includes a cold air intake. I know that COBB and everyone else and there Grandma says cai's are a bad idea. But, I could've sworn COBB made a map for a INJEN CAI and I don't see it on their website.

i believe they used to have a map that could be used with an injen intake, but since have pulled it

  5. pdx has that map. Cobb never supported an aftermarket intake but they do require a full TBE for Stage 2.

you can go to pdxtuning, put in your mods and info of the car and they'll send you a base map and 2 real time maps to go along with it for 150 bucks. You can check nasioc for testimonials and such, dunno about the reliability.

  9. Well I did a tad bit of searching on Nasioc and found out that PDX Tuning http://www.pdxtuning.com/ has a map that would work with some aftermarket intakes. However, it comes at a price of 150. I actually returned my typhoon to my retailer and honestly put back my stock airbox and ram air scoop. Im actually going full Stage 2 tonight once I get home from work. Cobb requires a stock airbox to work with their Stage two map and a turbo back exhaust.

And to be honest, Im at 280 miles on my tank of gas and still have a quarter tank left. Much more than I can say for when I had my short ram on.

Nem, appreciate the research. I think if I'm going to pay $150 I might as well go to topspeed or SOG and pay for protune. I'm allready running Stage 2 with up/TBE, just trying to get a few extra ponies with the CAI. Wish there was a way to access that old map that COBB pulled with the INJEN CAI. I'm getting 20mpg with this set up, didn't really notice it change with the intake.

  11. No prob man.

How do you like your setup now as far as the Stage two with the off the shelf map? Itll be a month or so till I get protuned maybe.

I'm really happy with it. I dyno'd at 232whp and 237tq. I had just bought and installed my CAI right b4 I put it on the dyno.... So, not sure if it hurt or helped me. But I think 232whp was respectable, and similar to numbers people got with Ecutek with the same mods. Ran a 14.2 at commerce, even with my crappy launch... So, I thing the OTS map is fine for our mods, maybe SS or Doug could estimate how much could be gained with a protune...
