dammit...another hot event I have to miss. Shoulder surgery is not good for auto-x skillz. This really sucks, I just realized by the time I am healed up the season will likely be over. My new weapon of cone destruction will be making its debut next season!
Bummer dude. Rest that shoulder! Yeah, it's going to be hot. I'm still only registered for the afternoon in class, but might potentially change that and run both TO sessions. New weapon, huh? Do tell...
Surgery does suck. Your ESP competition will be missed. Is the new weapon going to be in ESP also? Anyways, I will be there Sunday with my co-driver sweating a$$.
I have your replacement brackets. I'll give them to someone to give to you because I'm not going to be able to make it Sunday.
Sounds good. Can people still register at the site? Just making sure, because my co-driver didn't pre-register.
There are less and less regions that will do on site registration since online reg. is more popular now.
if you show up with correct change..... you'll be yelled at but in the end the AR SCCA will gladly take your money
It was good to see a lot of WRXAtlanta people out. Thanks for letting me borrow stuff and watch out for bums.
I'm glad my $2, <4psi gauge worked for ya. And that the bum didn't snag it. :coolugh: Great day all in all...the new sway was rocking. I was driving a little too hot and pushing like a wild man, but it's all good. I will dial it back for Saturday night. You're welcome man, anytime! I brought the new camera out and took some pictures. Linky: http://picasaweb.google.com/fcbenoit/ARSCCAPoints7 ^^ some shots of the freshly tinted windows, too. :naughty:
^^Speaking of swaybars, the new Strano is awesome. This is the highest I have ever placed overall in pax and raw. The daily driving noise is made up for by an increadible increase in dynamic camber.
Considering this was the car's first outing and I had not autox'ed in 2~3 months....I'm pretty happy about being 4 seconds off pace. 245/40 tires will get me 1 more second....improving myself will get 2 more seconds...and some other small tweaks will get another .5~1.0 out of the car.
ok somebody must explain...what was going on with the bums? Were they trying to steal cars out of grid? You should have offered to pay them $5 to swap tires.
One of them dropped a newspaper right by our stuff, and Clay and I started to freak out. Clay started loading a bunch of stuff in his car under his seat even though he was still racing. Then it just went from there...
^^ That kind of looks like said bum. And before I get in trouble for putting stuff in the car, I slipped my small bag with my V1 and dig camera under the passenger seat. hnoes:
I had's really noticed; but if this happens again make sure either Heyward or one of the Operating Stewards are told, we pay for on-site security at turner.
Exactly. The point of entry for the 3 loiter'ers that i tracked entered from that far intersection where the under/overpass is...aka the interstate.
