the course may be chalked out for this one as long as there are some volunteers to help clean up the course at the end... i might not be able to stick around too long after the event since my parents will be with me... the volunteering will count as the work assignment for the day... here's the email from joel: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cory Montgomery has been able to help us secure a reduced rate for a sweeping machine with water spray. I am willing to pay the rental for this piece of equipment if we have enough volunteers to help clean up the chalk lines. Here's what is needed: 1) A volunteer to pick up the equipment on Friday and return it on Monday. It requires a truck with a tow hitch. The machine is located in Douglasville. 2) At least one additional volunteer to help the person with the equipment scrub the course lines off the Turner Field lot once the event is complete on Sunday (probably 6:30-7:00) I would need a firm commitment before we put any lines down on the course as the cleanup fee from Turner Field is $1300. I will not be available while this work is being done as I will be towing the SCCA trailer to Gwinnett. Please contact me at apexlater@hotmail.com if you would like to volunteer. This would count as your work assignment for Sunday's event. Thanks, Joel -------------------------------------------------------------------
