The unit: Back: Over all this unit is just amazing for the price (398 shipped) Features: Navigation SD card Audio/Video playback USB Audio/Video playback IPod Control Voice Rec( pretty good ) Adjustable lightning color ( up to 255^3 colors) and the best part is that it runs on WinCE so its easily hackable. The Navigation: Out of the box it’s pretty decent... I am a programmer so I went in and wrote my own UI (the UI is a bunch of script in an ini file) I also enabled 3d buildings (downtown looks really nice) 3d buildings were only supposed enabled for the 900bt and the 90bt. Over all i am VERY happy with the TTS and the navigation itself.. IPod Control (requires purchase of $30-50 cable): I have an iPhone 3g and the iPod control works flawlessly. It’s amazing!! The voice recognition does WONDERS. Over all very impressed with the unit. SD Music/Video: This unit can play Mp3, mp3, wmv , divx, AVI, and xvid ( I am probably missing a few) from the SD card. Voice commands work here as well. USB Thumb drive Music/Video: This unit can play Mp3, mp3, wmv , divx, AVI, and xvid ( I am probably missing a few) from the USB Thumb drive. Voice commands work here as well. BlueTooth calling: The BT on this unit is great! Its allows you to copy your entire phone book (up to 700 people) to the unit itself and you can use Voice commands to call people... The voice rec is better than most phones have built in. The call quality is very nice. There is also a nice little dial pad and stuff on the phone. its all very nifty. Now on to the bad: The unit start up is slow ( it’s all depended on how much stuff you have on the USB drive and the SD card) I have a 16 gig sdhc and a 8 gig USB drive on there, so it was expected i suppose. its 30-40 secs till i can see the map. Other than that... Everything works as well as expected! 4.5/5 on this unit..Well worth 400. Hell id buy it even if it were 600.
