What is a website that has the Falken Azenis IN STOCK? I need them ASAP as my car is parked due to peeling tires... I tried Edge Racing, but they called back and said it could be months before they get any. If there are any shops around that carry them, that'd be great too!
ok, I found them in stock at Vulcantire.com for $108 a piece, but shipping is going to rape me... Anything local?
You should get some Bridgestone Potenza RE-01r tires, they aren't too much more expensive with the $100 rebate that they have now. It came out to around $480 for the set of 4 that I bought, after the rebate. If you get the 225, they are cheaper too, We went with 245s on a 8.5" wheel. They are kick ass tires. They are wide for the 225 tire, and run $125 each for that size, not including the $100 rebate on a set of 4. The RE-01Rs are better for track days and won't get greasy like the Azenis. -- Brian
Just an FYI.. Discount tire on Hwy.9 / Mansell rd. will price match internet pricing(providing there in stock..). Saved my friend lots of money...
2 spare rear tires ftw~! lol hit me up if you cant get them in time and if the tires blow in you. i'll let you borrow it. then you'll just need 2 more for the front. lol try the discount tire in gville
I'm going to call them in the morning, and if they can't do it, then I'm going to bite the bullit and order from Vulcan
I just went there and they said they can only get 3... But they have the Azenis 'Sports'. Has anyone ever tried those? The tread patter is similar to the BFG G-Force, and they still have a tread wear of 200AA. He said that they were just released. I'll try to find a pic.
That pic posted above is of the older Azenies tire. It's the RT-215. If you're going to get Azenies, make sure to the the RT-615's (the one you linked to from highperf.com).
Thats the one I want, but everyone is out of stock except for discount tire, and they can only get 2...
the pic above is the older model... which is ok but its less grippy. just order them kumhos this time and burn them out. its like 250 for 4 tires. cant beat that. and order the rt-615's and put them on when they become available.
sumitomos make good tires. best bang for the buck. i never liked the bf goodrich's.... try this tire ive heard good things on this Hankook Ventus S1 Evo K107
please tell me you aren't talking about the sumitomo hrt z II. i had those on my car and found out how bad they were when i got my rt-615's. i thought that my car was supposed to plow all the time and there was nothing i could do to change it (even with 27 mm front bar, 24 adj. rear bar and coilovers and constantly playing w/ the settings before and during every autocross) until i got the azeni's that is. night and day between those tires. the falken's are hands down the superior tire.
well on the rwd car that is... lol they are quite good. not the v shaped ones but them block treaded ones. they are not the bst handling but not the worst. + its cheap cant expect alot from em.
