talk to neil next time, hes really good about stuff like that... and dont let it get to you =P take it with a smile! they get tired of dealing with us little punks messing up our cars
Definitlly, just got off the phone with em, great guy. Dropping the car off tommorrow morning. :wiggle: Im trying not to get really frustrated. Hopefully the air bag wires can be replaced easily the same day so I can get to enjoy the car
WHOA!!! I think there was a misunderstading here. I was in the office next to Steve while you were talking. He's actually in a better-than-usual mood and was doing his version of joking with you. I apologize for how that might have come across. He did not at ALL mean to imply that you were lying, he was implying that you didn't know that it had aftermarket seats because you just bought it. There are HUNDREDS of posts on here about people taking modified cars back to stock to trade them in... it is HIGHLY likely that your car had aftermarket seats in it, which were put back to stock before trading it in. Seriously, I am sorry for Steve having left you upset, but I assure you he did not mean to say you were lying. When he gets in a good mood, he tends to joke, and it's a little "off-beat" from normal humor... SS
Its no problem, and it may be some on my part that is coming into the whole thing with being frustrated at the entire situation from the other dealership. But as for the stock seats. The car was broken into and a report was filed (as far as I know) and the amplifier under the seat at the time was stolen which I had replaced at a qualified retail audio carrier. The audio shop notified me before install that the air bag wires have been cut and that posed a danger to me. Seems as though the thieves went in, removed the front bolts holding the front seat, started snipping wires and cut those in the process. This whole thing is nothing personal and I hope no severe offense is taken by it all. Just want to get my car back in great shape tommorrow Other than the brakes and the air bag light, the car drives beautiful.
hey nemesis just wanted to let you know as we'll that i'm sorry you felt that way but all in all SOG is the best dealership in georgia when it comes to subaru's in my opinion they will ben over backwards for ya especially Scott Siegel Right now he is working on my buddies car and doing the best they can. Just so you know how good they are us guys from savannah would rather drive 4 hours to get our cars fixed and tuned by them than drive 2 hours to jacksonville or charleston. maybe that should tell ya something anyways goodluck with the car i'm sure SOG will have running like new in no time!
I drove 6 hrs to SOG to get tuned and then back home. I like the guys i ment while i was up there. was going to have my car trailered up there when the bulkhead harness fried but decided to do it myself...
They're good people up there but Steve can come off like a jerk if you dont know him. Neil and Ephremm are great to deal with if you'd rather deal with them.
that is highly a no no.. when i went to test drive the new sti i was told serious buyers only but later on when i checked my credit or whatever they told me if i wanna test drive it anytime just holla at them.. i didn't test drive it yet but i asure u u can test drive the used onces
Thanks a bunch guys for taking care of everything today! I loved the facilities! You all were very helpful with my n00b questions too
Neal O'Leary was my salesman when I bought my wagon in Dec.05 and he was very helpful and extremely professional. He has moved over to service now. Gary Sykes is awesome too.... Mark
