We just did a few pulls on the Batlground STI today. Dan found some time to get her on the dyno.

    Specs:
STOCK ENGINE the way she came from the dealership
    -Stock intake manifold
    -Stock throttle body
    -stock heads and cams
    -stock manifold
    -TGVs were NOT REMOVED

    GT35R Rotated Kit
    Perrin Intake
    FMIC
    850cc Injectors
    3in DP
    Exhaust
    Cobb AP

395whp/350tq on pump gas, no methanol, no race gas, straight up 93 octane. Ill have to ask dan but i think boost was 20psi, may have been 19
for basically a turbo kit, front mount, and injectors, thats pretty good numbers. we are on par with the car we did 3 years ago that made 535whp with a hydra with the same setup. Race Gas numbers will come soon.

    Graph and pics coming tomorrow

LOL it would have made 420whp if I had been there....

Good Pump gas numbers for that setup,

yes, apparently the presence of Matt will boost numbers and reduce lap times. I'm thinking about producing a Matt Ball voodoo doll with suction cups hands... Maybe we could get a group buy going???

Pretty solid numbers so far, hopefully we will break 400whp on the next tuning session on pump gas.

I know for a fact that Dan hasn't even touched the AVCS maps yet. I'm sure it will come a little sooner he just needs more time to play with it.

LOL yeah matt tends to push people to make 20-30hp

The car isnt done with yet, this was just a quick tuning session

I think that was 19lbs so if he really wanted to push it he could push it to about 22lbs which on that big a turbo is probally plenty safe. I suspect it will make 420-440whp on pump.

There might be a few more suprises in store for it as well.

Yeah a pumpgas stock longblock GT35r usually makes around 430 on our dyno.

Man, someone needs to buy Tracy a detail for that poor dirty engine bay.

Dan borrowed my truck to go to South Carolina this morning so I've been driving the his STI around. I have to say the drive ability is unreal. I would not hesitate to put a 35R on a STI. Dan is truly a master its the smoothest STI I have ever driven. I don't know what he did to get the drive ability and the throttle response so crisp but its an absolute joy to drive. It drives better than my wife's bone stock STI.

    Truly awesome.

we are doing a 35R rotated kit right now, cost is $6000 for the kit(35R, Up-pipe, Downpipe, Wastegate, Intake pipe, basically a UR kit), install, Greddy Boost controller, tuning.

That assumes you have a front mount intercooler , injectors and a cobb AP

Jeez what's the install labor? $3K?

  26. Batlground

    Batlground Active Member

    UR Kit $3600
    Electronic Boost Controller $350
5 Hours of tuning (pump and race gas)
    Install is $1150

so the number i listed before is for a complete turbo kit installed with a boost contrrole and TUNED out the door.
