So I got a Nikon D40 for Chanukah and I just got a chance to take it for a spin in my Dad's garage. Its awesome! I love it. I'm still getting the hang of it but its a stellar camera. Dads got an SC430 and a 999s. So here's some car/bike porn for you guys. :) [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] And the view from dad's back porch: [IMG]

These were shot as JPEGS and have not been processed at all. Since I don't have Photoshop yet there was no way to post process them so I just ripped them straight from the SD card. I'll be getting PS pretty soon though. When that happens I get to start shooting in RAW!! WOOT! Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys! I have some more shots I've taken lately I'm going to post up. This thing has been attached to my hand ever since I took it home.

And Alex just laid my shit bare. Hahaha.

those are amazing shots. Is it really a 5 second exposure? Do you have to remote shutter or time delay the shutter press to get those?

I used a time delay. I don't have the wireless remote yet. Thanks, though scott!
