Ive tried many vaccum lines and i cant seem to find the right one to hook my new boost gauge up.

you can either tap into the vacuum line of of the BPV, or there is a tap on the intake manifold.

  4. I have mine hooked in one of my hoses from my manifold. You should just hook it up to your bov hose... it'll make everything alot easier.

Yeah just tap into the BOV hose, and then run the vacuum hose through the grommet in your floorboard, which all pre-08 cars should have, up to wherever the gauge is mounted. As far as the tube goes, you can buy all sizes of vacuum tube at home depot. At least that's where mine came from and it works wonders.

The BPV is the common place to put it. That is where mine is.

Old thread but I need an answer on where to tap for a STRI boost gauge. Hallman boost controller, external wastegate, 50-50 APS BOV. I'm not sure if I can tap on any vacuum line, where the best place to tap in is?
    Thanks guys!

Fuel pressure regulator. Both the FPR and Boost gauge require a small source.

No, tap into the vacuum line going into the stock FPR for the boost gauge.

Are you saying you also have a Hallman, EWG, and APS BOV you need to hook up as well? If you don't know how to hook these up, I strongly suggest paying someone or getting someone to help you do this. Hooking the MBC or EWG wrong can cause some serious damage to your car.

no, everything else is connected, I was wondering if I had to tap in the vacuum line between the BOV and manifold or between MBC and wastegate, sorry for the confusion!

No you just need a tiny vac/boost source. Some people say use the line going to the BOV but Tial and Apexi recommends not doing this since the BOV relys on a strong vac signal to open.
