    Hi,
I don't know if this is the right spot, and if not, you can totally move it. But anyways, I'm ordering a prosport green mechanical boost gauge soon, but I was thinking about getting SOG to install it for me, because if something goes wrong I don't want to be responsible and I have faith in Subaru's service departments. But I was wondering if anyone knew if they would do it. I know I should just call them, but I figured I check here to see if anyone has gotten them to install a boost gauge before. If you have how much was it, and how long did it take?

Get it done at TopSpeed or BatlGround instead!

Would it be more/less/the same for cost wise?

should be nearly the same, but those shops are MUCH more performance oriented and stand behind their work.

You'd be wasting you money IMO. If something went wrong SOG probably won't stand behinf it since its aftermarket. Eventhough I doubt a boost gauge will cause any problems.

I say find some local members in your area and do it. Should only take about 30 min

Hrm, alright...My biggest fear is the cutting of the boost line to fit the T adapter.

I installed my own gauge. It was the Lamco subaru gauge. It wasn't too bad. I have the instructions if needed. I am guessing it would take someone who has done it before between 30 min and 1 hour. That should give you an idea as to how much it would cost.

BTW - Cutting the boost line was no big deal.

In all honesty it's a pretty simple job. Takes some time and patience getting through the firewall. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself have a g2g install day and you can get advice and hands on help if you need it.
