boost gauge

    I think my boost gauge has never worked properly...tell me if I'm wrong. It doesn't start at 0, it starts at -.1 never really paid attention to it and now I feel stupid asking. :eek:

    at idle the engine runs under vacuum... hence the negative reading

    It's normal..unless you hook it into the nipple on the turbo compressor housing (hi Craig :D).

    lol what brand gauge is it, some you can open up and adjust to sit a zero.

    vacuum when you lift, like all the hondas with the boost gagues and no turbo, they reface the dials so they are always at like 35psi

    and that -1, 0, 1.5 stuff

    is it in bars? qbar=14.7psi (Mg or Hg?)
