i have a new 06 sti with about 400 miles on it. The DCCD is always been in auto ever since i got the car. The car hasn't even been pass 3500 rpm due to break in period but i notice that sometimes mostly when the car is still cold that the car tends to start bucking alittle not a lot, when im tryin to make a sharp turn. It only has happen when im in first gear and making a 90 degree turn or u turn. Anyone have insite on this problem or is it normal in a awd car? Thanks

my mind is still trying to catch up from a rough night, but i believe that this was talked about in another post not too long ago and it is something about the play in the drive train, but i could be completely wrong

Well, how low are the RPMs dropping? Its prob. just low RPM buck, you can always apply more gas to get the rpms back up.

Yeah, its the fact that we have a front driveshaft and a rear driveshaft and everything has little tolerances. When you load and unload the drivetrain everything 'snaps' into place and you'll get a little buck. It does happen a little bit more in the cold (it seems like you're towing a trailor, aka trailor-hitching). I get it really bad in rush hour traffic where I'll just be barely on the throttle and it's not enough to load everything up so it'll buck front to back occasionally.

I buck in my 02 sometimes at a complete stop with my girlfriend in my lap, low tolerance in the drive shaft.....yup. But Seriously I buck especially if I bottom out the steering and am doing a slow turn yup!
