I'll be installing A LOT of things on the outside of my car here in the next few weeks. Some is a secret because I want to see everyone's reaction, and some I will explain. Most of it will pertain to mountain biking because other than school and work, I ride my bike. First off, I just got a rook rack for my bike. I love how it looks and will be adding things to it other than my bikes. Next thing is to get my lighting situation figured out. I will be adding a few more fogs from what is already on there. I'm looking to come out with about 6 fogs. 4 down under my headlights and 2 on my roof rack. I already have two 700FF's in between my stock fogs so I have to add two more. Thinking two 500's on top. Everything else I want to keep quiet, but some will require drilling into my car!hnoes: I'll keep this updated with pics!
If you really want to do her up get the light bar / brush bar. that would be haut!!! :wiggle: And don't forget your mud flaps!
Light bar may be a future mod after I'm done, but right now I am on a slight budget so I am DIY'ing all of it. Mudflaps are on the list as well.
My lights should be here tomorrow. I'll take pics of my progress tomorrow. Did a few things this weekend as well.
Does anyone have any idea how I can keep the Hella's from bouncing while driving? I want to keep the main mount there, but I am trying to make a more secure bottom mount... Any ideas?
I will eventually once I get some more fogs, but my driving lights need to be mounted higher than a light bar can go unless I fab up my own.
Something about the height allows for the light to be used to its fullest extent and not wasted on the ground. They are SUPER bright and shine a dark road at least 300 yards down. Fogs are supposed to be mounted low as you probably already knew. The difference in fog and driving is the lens.
