That black hardened plastic piece on the bugeye bumper that is removed to install a FMIC, is it sold seperately from the bumper?

Also, if it is removed w/o putting something there (i.e., FMIC) how will it look?

A Trugreen chemical truck was spewing chemical and it hit my car. The black plastic is peeling and is VERY UNATTRACTIVE! I have given thought to getting it stripped and painted, but that may cost more than replacing the part.

Any advice or solution is helpful.

it's all part of the bumper, and to remove it would be to cut the bumper up.

it would look hideous and nasty if it were removed and left alone. :(

Hmmm.....tomorrow morning i am going to see if I can lessen the effect by peeling it completely. That way all you see is flat black, no peel. If that doesn't work I will be forced to buy an Ebay body kit.......

    kidding, lol.

Would it matter if it was several months ago? My I didnt realize or think much of it that day. I washed the car as usual and said fook it. Now 4 months later she peels.
