Aftermarket headlights would def be on the list. edm's are crazy expensive though. I have yet to find a decently priced set
Seems not cost effective... at all.. Almost like you'd be better off selling the 04 and buying a bugeye...
fenders and bumper cover are $569.00 new from SO fillintheblank and maybe another $300.00 to $400.00 for the rest in aftermarket parts. That would seem cheaper than selling a car or am I missing something?
Forgetting the hood. And to get aftermarket headlights he's looking at $700-$1200. Still cheaper then buying an actual car but if he is just going for stock it will seem pointless.
Forgot about the hood, but still cheaper. So when are going to buy the frontend and put it on yours Sparta?
if you're going to do it, you have to do it right. lights are a must. I sold my EDMs for $1100 about 4 months ago, so keep that in mind. JDMs are junk and will blind everyone unless you mod them
Dont forget that sedans and wagons have different front bumpers and fenders if you get into swapping. I say do it if you can afford some EDMs, and while you've got the fenders off you may want to install some cowl braces.
^^^ Im going to start saving for some edms. And cowl braces sound like a good idea. Do you have to change to a sedan front bumper too? or just the fenders? One more quick question. Do you have to swap out radiator supports?
Lol sean Im not gonna trade. Like I said my bumper needs replacing as well as headlight. I wouldn't want him to have to replace those. Also remember your wagon stuff is different than his sedan bumper/fenders. I've never seen a sedan with wagon front end, it would be different.
And you may run into some rubbing issues; the front/rear track is 1" wider on sedans, basically just wider control arms and lateral links.
The radiator supports around the headlights are different. You can make the bugeye fit the blobeye but not vice versa.
Why you wana do this anyway? I rather spend that money elsewhere. But your car, your money, good luck on the swap.
