Bumper replacement...

So I work with the JR/SR high youth group at our church and this past Sunday one of the kids came in and said him mom backed into my car. I thought he was pulling my chain but he looked pretty serious. Well I get up and walk outside and there the car sits with the right rear corner caved in and gouged. Tail light was not broken and the rear panel doesn't look to be dented. So hopefully just replacing the bumper and what ever is behind is will be needed.

Now here is my question. I am having the ladies ins appraiser come out today and take a look for an estimate. They gave me the name of the place that that do direct guaranteed work with. I was thinking if I can find a place that can do the job for cheaper then the check would be maybe I can get some small door dings pulled and a full buff of the car to remove some small scratches? Ideas? Is it worth shopping around for and if so does anyone have recommendations? My car is the Obsidian Black Pearl or as Saab called it Midnight Black Metallic. Basically black with a blue metallic in it. I have never had to take a car to the body shop for being damaged.

Do you have pics of the damage?

    I recommend:
Call Hayes at Dings at 770-630-1864.

    He does great work.
    Tell him Patrick referred you.

No on me. The bumper is toast though. The other car left a big gouge in the plastic.

Hmm I would like to get some door dings taken out. Thanks. How does he charge? By the hour?

No per dent...He is mobile so he comes to you...he is priced better than the dealer and PDR places with a store front.
