So someone i know is selling a the shotgun below. Is it a good deal or should I walk away and look elsewhere. I like the fact that its rare, because simply i like to collect rare things that can appreciate in the future. Its also a left handed model which makes me weary, since Beretta stocks are expensive.

    Beretta A-390ST Ducks Unlimited Version 161/300 12-GA-$600

I already got this one from him. I figured it was a good deal.

A limited run/"rare" shotgun is like a rare mustang package, there are 1000 different rare packages to choose from, and you get the pleasure of paying a premium for a sticker package and not much else.

If you want rare, go find something old(like my ~1890 LC Smith side by side hammerless 12 gauge).
