I know that my questions sounds stupid, but i really want to know. I tried to install front sway bar this morning. BUT guess what??? I stripped the nut from U-looking thing which holds bushing. :wtc:

Here comes the problem. I already untightened the other bolt. Since i stripped the nut, i can't put back the bolt anymore. :eek:hnoes: :eek:hnoes: It sux very much... Any tips on how to put that bolt in???

oh yeah, the stock front sway bar is still in tact, but that passenger side U-thing is not tightened up.

well you "COULD" drive it, but take it REALLY easy. It will probly have really funny handling and really bad steering response. I wouldn't take in any farther than HomeDepot to get a new nut. If I strip a nut or a bolt head and don't have a new one, i just use my dremmel to grind it down just enough to put two new flats on it. You could use a demmel, grinding wheel, or even a hand file.

Hmm, I'd say try it, it could be fun :)

Just take it easy on it though.

It can be done, but take it easy. Sway bars add rigidity but are not mandatory on the car.

I may have a spare nut for it laying around. You should be fine driving it temp.

Yes, you can drive it without the swaybar, should not be all that bad, will just have alot more body roll. When I got my front Sway installed at SoG, I asked Siegel about it, becuase I didn't upgrade the endlinks, and I was concerned that I may snap on. Seigel said that when they race in the rain they diconnect one side of the swaybar and run like that, so again, you should be fine, just start slow and get a feel for your handling before doing anything crazy.
