After reading that I really want to try to quit smoking ciggs again. Need to go see a doctor about getting some Wellbutrin. Anti Depressants would really help.
I enjoy a nice cigar occasionally, as it's pretty much pure tobacco with nothing added. But cigs? So you prefer: Dimethylnitrosamine Ethylmethylnitrosamine Nitrosopyrrolidine Hydrazine Vinyl Chloride Urethane Formaldehyde Other Toxic Agents: Carbon Monoxide Hydrogen Cyanide Acrolein Acetadehyde Nitrogen oxides Ammonia Pyridine Nitric acid Mathylamine Hydrogen cyanide Indole 3-hydroxypyridine 3-vinylpyridine Acetone Acetonitrile Acrolein 1,3-Butadiene, mg Nitrous acid isoquioline Isoamylamine
i would highly recommend it. my grandmother smoked for a long time. now she has emphyzema(or however you spell). That finally got her to quit. Seems to be improving and not having to take nicorete so much anymore. She still has problem gaining weight and walking long distacnes or doing anything strenous.
that's only about 1/8 of the chemicals found in american cigarettes. and wrxcrazy... average deaths attributed to cigarettes: 400,000+ yearly cannabis: <20 (only because some folks think driving is a good idea) don't get me started on alcohol. btw, you don't HAVE to smoke cannabis. in fact it's NOT the most efficient use of the plant(just the quickest). but i suppose over 80+ years of US propaganda will have some people fooled. my favorite bit of latest propaganda is when the FDA recently said "it's official, there's no health benefits to cannabis"... which cause me to fall of my chair laughing because not more than a month earlier the NAS (National Acadamy of Sciences/Research Council)-a gov't formed, non partisan group of the nation's top researchers clearly stated that more research needed to be done over a longer term. The FDA niether conducted nor cited any study to support this "official" statement.
I have the remastered version of Reefer Madness with the commentary by the dude from MST3K hehehe and some other old propaganda movies on dvd, they are freaking hilarious we should have a propaganda movie g2g
I knew that already they just said that to stop you from smokin it. maryjane has a lot of good qualities but every one harps on the bad.
You a master chef? Great shirt I saw this weekend at Indy, "Ask Me how I Gained 20lbs?" boldly written over a nice cannabis leaf.
 that's sounds promising lol nah, i just do a lot of reading up on research regarding stuff like this. there's nothing quite like the job security that comes with a war that's unwinnable. of course, the grunts on the ground get killed but hey, that's collateral damage for ya, right?
I honestly believe it's the obscene amount of chemicals they soak the cigs in that are the true culprit.
I quit smoking a while back, but do many people roll ther own? ( meaning tobacco cigarettes) Now I'm wondering what the wrapping paper industry would be like if there was no marijuana. <sp>
Never rolled my own, but did go thru a phase in my younger days that I smoked Unfiltered Lucky Stirkes. Tried one the other day that I got from a buddy at work and thought I was going to die by the time I finished it. Filtered Cigarettes=Nastiness, Unfiltered Ciggarettes=Uber Nastiness. I really need to quit smoking, don't I.
Its way cheaper to roll your own and you can roll filters up in there. I know people that went to hand rolled cigarettes to try to quit just because of the extra effort they had to go through to smoke one, they really cut down on the drunken chain smoking.
i rolled my own cigs for 4 years. not by choice but i wanted to smoke and they where a hell of alot cheaper than cadalacs as i liked to call them then. plus there isnt as much added chemicals in the rollyour own as there is in regular cigs. next time your at the supermarket or drug store look at tops or bugler and see if theres a surgan generals warning on them.
