Well for the past month or so I've noticed that the car will smoke a bit at idle and when your pressing the gas ....let say when you backing out of the driveway. I don't notice it so much after driving for a while. From what I can tell it's not oil...it smells like normal exhaust. Last night at taco mac with everyone, I was leaving and noticed a good bit or grey when I was pulling out of my spot in the parking deck so I thought I'd ask finally. I have a catless turboback exhaust. Curious if it's just running richer upon start up and warming up, or is it just normal for cars with no cats. Also, my oil levels are perfect when I change it, no loss whatsoever.
sounds like its time to replace those muffler bearings oh, and you might as well top off your boost and blinker fluids while youre at it, just for safety sake.
I dunno I will go start mine in a bit and watch it idle. I do see a tad of some @ WOT but that is fairly normal from what I have seen a little oil burnoff, although I never run low inbetween oil changes but do it every 2k. You do not have that many miles yet do you?
well I set up my video and revved her up a bit just a tad of whiteish/gray smoke...But damn I sprayed black shit all over my camera.:eek4:
ha nice man...well when i left work today i stayed out side the car and kicked the gas...no smoke... so i'm not sure what's going on...
