I'm getting a EVO II cat bak.. greddy... do i need a down pipe with that?? and whateles i can change with the cat bak?? to incresse camel power... and get a cool sound.. loud and deep. :wiggle:
is the catback 3" or 2-1/2"? If it is 3", you may get a little rattle, becauce of the wrong offset from the stock downpipe. and of course after doing your turboback, you may want to look into engine management, like ecutek of cobb, to unlock the power you just made.
well if i understand you correctly the greddy should bolt up to the stock DP but it would be more beneficial if you had a downpipe to unlock any substantial gains as well as a deeper exhaust note. if you do change the downpipe you may as well do the uppipe at the same time since you will have everything taken apart anyway
Man, you are crazy with those emoticons... It should bolt directly to your stock dp, but be aware that's a serious bottle neck.
bottle neck means its like a beer bottle... you are going from a big pipe to a much smaller pipe which is not good for airflow.... good for beer bad for air
hmmm oh okie.. i understand now.. i was thinking abt going perrin down pipe and up pipe.. will that fit in with my greddy evo II CatBak?
