Cat Delete

    Just take it to a muffler shop to get it cut out and a pipe put in.. That pipe is not long enough

    AH I see what you mean. That part replaces the cat but I would still need the TurboXS mid pipe.

    If the stock cat does not scavenge too much flow I'll just keep the stock STI cat back assembly intact. My only other concern is that the stock mid pipe is 2.5 and the DP is 3.0 that there may be some fitment problems but the flanges seem to mate............

    Why not buy cheap full length dp?

    it appears as if the injen SES downpipe is a full downpipe.

    the STi/WRX centerpipe aka midpipe that goes from the downpipe to the muffler has a resonator in it, not a cat. There is no real performance gain from deleting it.

    Ok I'll stick with the original plan. Doing the heat wrap tonight on the up & downhopefully. The install should happen over the next ten days. I ahve the AP ready with stage 2 but I will still have SS tweak it.
