Catback Meet ???

Everyone who has an aftermarket Catbacks.

Could we arranger like a small meet to hear different CBEs near atlanta in about a week ?

Please let me know if you guys are interested.

To make it a little easier than a meet, someone has a link to a bunch of sound files for catbacks.

 

I vote for a meet, cause it would just be fun...i'm down.

If I'm in town then I'll come out. I'm really happy with my APS but the Greddy Evo 2 is another quiet-ish exhaust. Stromungs sound good and I've always wanted to hear a Borla Hush but I'm not sure if anyone has one locally.

TurboXS stealthback to a prodrive axle-back or sti axle-back is another quiet solution. Or if you've got a downpipe, get a Stromung midpipe and one of these axle-backs.

Sounds Like Fun

 

I am down, I just installed a magnaflow catback yesterday, I love how it sounds.

 

OK. so it seems like we have to decide on time and location.

How is sunday noon for everyone?

As for the location. Is GT campus OK with everyone? perhaps the parking lot where the motor show was held. Next to the instructional center. Of course if someone can offer a better location that would be better. I live on campus and I don't have a garage to offer .

 

If its on the Northside I can stop by, you guys can hear the Perrin loudness.... Its gotta be an 8 on the Milo scale.

 

I run the Stromung and it sounds/looks amazing. It looks stock, but has a perfect growl at WOT.

 

I could stop by on Sunday, the IC parking lot would be a good place to do it, nice and open.

 

I have the infamous old skool Invidia, thanks to Weapon WRX. I love the sound....rumbles really well!

 

Be careful where you do this. I can see cops showing up and causing an issue.

BTW, I have a G200 invidia with catless invidia dp V3. IT sounds awesome ..except its way too loud.

 

jason's exhaust is by far the loudest of any WRXatlanta board member i have met to date. straight through TurboXS RFL. I have the ebay knock off of his, except mine has resonators in the down pipe and mid pipe.

 

Holy crap I didn't think there were going to be this many people. I was expecting like 4-5 max people max hehe.

Well it seems like GT campus won't do if we have this many people . Any suggestions on the venue? place where ppl won't mind us making loud noise?

Friday Night Test and Tune @ Commerce?

 

commerce sounds good ... but what do you mean by test and tune?

Its just for people to test and tune their drag setups..or for people just having fun.

 

Is there a space to drive around without racing?

If you are worried about cops and sound, my warehouse on the southside of Atlanta is empty on Sundays, I am sure they wouldn't mind if we used the parking lot, and there are no residential areas within atleast half a mile. I just got an ok from the president of my company to have at our warehouse, so we will be good if we have it here.

 

I wonder if I can talk my roommate into bring some sound recording equipment out there for data acquisition purposes.

Unfortunately, I just took my G200 out but I'll still bring it just incase people want to put it on there and try it. Shouldn't take too long to switch it out.
