I was just wondering if a stock de-catted up-pipe will increase horse power, even if it was a marginal increase. I know that it will decrease my spool time, but all I really want to know if it will have an increase in horse power. Thanks in advance.

Dude, the uppipe is one of the first things you should swap if you wanna see any future power regardless if it gains HP or not.

You will gain power even if you are not tuned for it. It wont be optimal and you will gain more if tuned. Just changing the uppipe is within the ecu's ability to adjust. If you start adding things like a turbo back and/or intake you definately need to get a tune.
