Can you link me to pics of the Angel Eyes and the blacked out lights? I cant find them. And whats the cost of both.
My apologies for the photos, I havent had a chance to retake them since I replaced the stolen camera. CCFLs installed w/ painting would be $200.
Word on the street is that 10th Street has killer deals on the bixenon fx35 projectors if you're interested.
Here are some photos from a customer's retrofit. This is a 92x retro and Ive been testing different CCFL ring sizes. This retro features a completely custom shroud as well, the outer lip is chrome so with the ring of that size you do see a reflection from some angels. Ultimatley, this produces an effect that slightly enlarges the look of the ring.
So what's the difference between fx35 projectors and TSX ones? Is the output a huge difference between the two or are they close?
I believe the fx35 bi-xenon ones are for the bugeye where the high beams and low beams are from one source.
No, they fit in the high-beam area of the 04/05 headlights perfectly. The fx35 bi-xenons are substantially bigger than the tsx, and because of that require tremendous cutting in order to get them to fit into the 04/05 housings.
Lol, you could go cheaper if you want with lower quality projector I suppose. I will be redoing my lights with s2ks this month :dirty:
Well s2k wins against almost everything on width in terms of what will fit into our headlights. They're just 3x the price of TSX
alex i sent you a PM on the 10th street name. gotta friend with a BMW 318i who is interested in a full headlight overhaul...
