Clemson Sports Car Club just posted this seasons schedule.
    Saturday, January 21st (Driving school)
    Sunday, January 22nd
    Saturday, February 11th
    Saturday, March 11th (tentative)
    Saturday, April 15th
    Saturday, April 22nd
I know some of you guys are kind of far away, but its better than waiting weeks or months for your next autox. There is normally a decent turnout, and now that we have NASA sponsorship, we have two timing boxes. So recently we have been averaging 4+ runs with drive throughs. Pm or check out the site if you have any questions. It's a whole lot cheapier than SCCA also. $20 for non-members and like $15 for members (don't have to be a student).

You guys should def. come race with clemson if you can, it is alot of fun!! Ive never been to an SCCA event but from what i understand clemson's auto-x's are alot more laid back. like tom said its 15 bucks to join the club for one semester(you dont have to be a student) if you become a member its 10 dollars to race your own car or 20 to race the club car(if its available) which is an 85 rx7(which is very competative, with the right driver it can get FTD.) if you dont decide to become a member you pay 20 dollars to race your own car. at each auto-x you get to walk the coarse, two drive throughs of the coarse before you race, usually five(6 if its not crowded) runs, and if time permits fun runs for 2 dollars per run at the end.

you guys should def. come check it out if you can :)

man, might have to skip dyno day if I can get my csp crx back up and running by then. I have the motor out of it now, and am going to replace the radiator, install the lsd, new brake system, and get it ready for next season.

and seeing as how all the other clemson people already spoke up, i will to. i have yet to run out at the auto-x here, but usually come out and watch a few a year. there are usually a few really nice cars out there, including (at least last year when i would watch them) a turboed miata, civic, a few other wrxs and evos. not to mention a few other cars like an obnoxiously loud vette and camaro. it is a lot of fun, and if any of you guys are gonna run i will have to come out and watch it

About 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and how fast you drive. I make it in about 3hrs from Peachtree City with minimal traffic.

    9? (is that right clayton?)

I can vouch. Clemson's Auto-x's are badass. Cheap too! And their club car (an 85 RX7 [12A]) is FAST. Fully mod'd suspension and race tires = FUN! Ill be going to as many as I can make it to. I usually go the day before and stay in claytons on campus apartment since he is my number 1 n**ga. The clemson guys are pretty nice. If you can find a place to stay for the night you can hit me up for a ride if Im going (and I can pick you up in the ATL or somewhere on the way... I might detour a bit if you sweet talk me) and Ill most likly be going.

Yeah, I have some room in my apt. if someone really needs a place to stay. Registration is normally over around 10 and we try and get the first car out by 11. Its about a 2 hour drive if you cruise at about 80 the whole way. We have some really good course designers and sometimes two club cars. Average lap time is about 45-70 seconds. If they can manage to get the CRX working, its a really sweet car. That almost always gets FTD as long as its running. The RX7 is nice if you know what your doing in a rear wheel drive car.

I may be interested as well. Will talk to Milo about it and see what he wants to do.
