Has anyone here clocked the compressor housing of a VF39?

I'm wanting to clock the compressor housing and rotate it so
that the compressor outlet points from the 3 o'clock to the
10 o'clock position, while maintaining the existing orientation
    on the bearing and hot-section.

Wouldn't you have to move the Wastegate Actuator to do this? Can you even clock a VF-39? I thought I read somewhere there were tabs on compressor housing that prevented you form clocking it?

Well I found this link on NASIOC and it mentions grinding pins and getting creative with remounting
the wastegate actuator. I don't have the turbo here at the moment to make good
    sense of all this verbiage.

I'm putting a VF39 in the '91 Legacy with an eBay fmic for a GC8 WRX and I'd like to
route the piping more efficiently from the compressor outlet to the intercooler core.
