what is the best cluth and flywheel to use for my stage 2 wrx. My clutch is getting closer and closer to the floor. Is it a good idea to use a lightened flywheel on a wrx? Should I just use a stock flywheel and get it re-surfaced?

you can't go wrong with a re-surfaced flywheel.
If you do get a different flywheel, don't get the lightest available. You'll more than likely get CEL's from it.

and as far as clutches go, just go with a stock replacement/stage 1. anything else will put too much strain on the tranny.

its a full day job. easiest way is to pull the entire motor, remove old (then you have to take your flywheel somewhere have it resurfaced, if they can finish it in an hour or have a wait....), then put new clutch/flywheel on reinstall motor. thats the easiest way to do it. otherwise it will take longer cuz ur crammed under the car the entire time

I got Subaru of Kennesaw to do it for around $500. I had a SOG coupon and a quote from SOG and they matched it.

from my understanding 02-03 wrx are drive by cable not Drive by wire and they aren't haunted by CEL's STI's get from going light weight. So safe to get light weight.

My goal is Light fly, cf drive shaft, and light weight pulley and finish it out with ultra light 17"s wheels :ddirty:. :fawk: Honda's then
