NASIOC Post: First and foremost thanks to everyone that came out to the Williams Subaru Grand Opening last week! Williams is also bringing back the race series at Carolina Motorsports Park with the inaugural event next month. The event will be on November 19th at CMP in Kershaw, SC, with the hopes of making it a four-event series next year should attendance be high enough. There will be an autocross as well as a time trial/track day, and options to run both should you choose. The event is of course open to all makes and models, and there will also be a lot of giveaways from Williams, YETI, 42 Autosports, Wes Burton Shocks, G Lock Brakes, Foam Power, and more! There will be plenty to do if you want to bring the whole family or come to spectate: there will be free ridealongs in a new STi and BRZ, and Johann Schwartz (the guy who broke the world record for the longest drift at 50 miles) will be giving free ridealongs in a drift car out on the racetrack. The PowerADE Karting series will also be having an event the same day so there will be plenty to see and do. Also voluntary donations will be accepted day-long to benefit the ASPCA.
