Commerce trip...

We need to get a Commerce meet together before this year slips by.

 

im down, but i really want to snag a hyperflow before i go.

October 6th is good for me... I say we go early so we can get there as the doors open. The last 2 times I went I didn't get there until 7:30 and only got 3 runs in each time. We should go around 3, get some grub at Applebees, load up on race gas and chill till 5:30 when they open. I hear if you get there early you can get several runs in before the place packs up....

 

I agree about getting there early. Every time I have done that I have been able to get at least 4 runs in without too much waiting.

 

so october 6th? or is that not finalized yet?

 

I would be down for this. I have never been to the track yet.

i'd love to go but i really doubt i'll be able to make it... i have 2 deadlines coming up that will have me pretty slammed

I hope I can get the time off from work. It would be nice to run at the track but I'm worried about my plastic motor mounts.

 

commerce has been tacky to me. they don't really have a sense of ettiquette there anymore, and I've been fouled-out for pre-staging only so I could build boost for a couple moments.

Money's tight, so I'll probably miss this...

I plan on leaving work around 4:00 and getting dinner there somewhere and hitting the track right as it opens. Hopefully get 4 or 5 runs in before the crowds hit and then chill with a couple of frothy adult beverages.

Where are you guys leaving from? I wanna try to meet up with someone on the way so my dumb ass won't get lost.... Also, anyone know where the race gas is????

 

I'll be leaving from Peachtree Industrial / Holcomb Bridger area around 4:00.


I always get race gas at the track.

 

I'll be leaving from Hamilton Mill Road (exti 120 off I-85) anywhere from 4-6.

I called my buddy for a rematch versus his GT mustang. He got an exhuast and chip last time we raced, and I go an exuast and Tune!

I'm not sure if I'll be there right when the track opens though.

 

So its just the three of us?
