What's up folks? I purchased a 2002 wrx sedan a few weeks ago. I bought it needing the 60k service and it was pretty much stock. So between completing the 60k service and modding it, I haven't driven it that much! I just installed a set of whiteline control springs (thanks to wrxking) and some tokico d-specs. once I get it aligned, I'll try and post a review, but I'm waiting for some whitelines sways and kartboy endlinks I ordered before I do the alignment. prior to the wrx, I had a '92 miata, a 2002 m3 vert, and an '02 s2000. I got interested in the wrxs after seeing them perform at the local autox (I also notice a lot of them with the forums stickers on them, which is how I found this site). no pictures, but it's pretty much a stock looking silver with the exception of the 17' rotas. look forward to seeing you guys around town once i get the car sorted! :wavey: -jimmy
Welcome! were those Whiteline springs the Flatouts or the less aggressive ones? Post pics when you can...
thanks, guys. the whitelines i have are the controls, which don't provide that big a drop like the flatouts. I'd read on nasioc and elsewhere that the flatouts drop too much. in actuality, it didn't drop the car all that much, which is fine with me since I wanted to retain as much of the stock ride as possible (an no scraping with my super steep driveway . I'll definitely post some pix once I'm done with everything and some more driving impressions.
^^^ I'm glad you said controls... I had flatouts on my bugeye with upgraded Kyb's and it rode like shit....
I have the Flatouts on my bugeye. I love them. Other than wanting to be lower. The ride is amazing. I need some nice shocks, now that my stockers have 90k on them.
welcome to the board! I need to step up the suspension mods myself, let us know your thoughts on the setup.
