I have recently been running 3 computers 2 desk tops and a lap top...Well Im down grading to just one desk top but over the years I have obtain tons of music...How do I transfer my songs from all my computers to one? Flash stick/jump drive ect. are too small and take too long to move everthing over...is there a way i could set up a network or usb to usb or what?
could always get an external hard drive enclosure. Basically it's a hard drive that you can connect to your comp. via USB.
get a router, or a hub.. and create netowkr on eahch of the comps, make sure ther in the same work grp
i have a wireless internet router...would that work or do I need to run ethernet cables to each one to the router?
Wifi would work, but data transfer will be slower than using ethernet cables. I suggest plugging in a few ethernet cables and start the transfer. For all my music I use an external Hard drive which seems to work nicely
i have my xbox setup with all my music =) but settin up the wifi network shouldnt be too hard, make sure ther under the sam e workgrp
