So my wife's studying for the GREs this weekend, and wants to be alone. Shiny new pieces sitting in the garage... just too much temptation.

30 mins into it so far, removed all the turbo heatshielding and broke loose all five downpipe bolts (gotta love having the right tools!). I have all weekend to futz with this, so will just take my sweet time and be done when I'm done...

Edit: Haven't had to pull the intercooler yet. Had zero problems accessing anything so far... we'll see once I get to the uppipe stuff!

Edit #2: The three UP nuts I can get to without pulling the DP are off... nothing like an assortment of extensions, joints, six-point sockets and long ass breaker bars.

I doubt it... have a lot of home improvement work to do this weekend too. Plus, I don't know when I'll be done with the car.

Will definitely be at the get together next weekend though.

Will do! So far everything's gone smooth. Called it a night after the bugs started showing up in my garage (have to keep the door open if I want to stretch out under the car...) so will continue tomorrow.

You can improve your home by winning the sweet prizes DnB has for tickets! :wiggle:

Well, DP and UP are out. Probably took 45 mins for it, so I probably have 1.5 hours in it so far (just going out in the garage when I feel like it, I hate doing it all in one session...). UP took like 15 mins... pulled the EGT sensor, flipped it and pulled it out.

Will start assembling it later today... not expecting too much trouble on that end. :)
