Couple brake upgrading questions

First off, has anyone bothered with the H6 rear upgrade on there? Seems like a decent way to gain some more braking power, and is not that expensive. If so, how do you like it? Was it a noticeable gain?

Second question, has anyone bothered with messing with the brake bias? I was thinking about this today, and was thinking that due to the added weight of the wagon putting more rear bias might help some things. The weight ought to give those wheels a bit more traction thus providing better results than on a sedan.

I'm under the impression that getting a different compound pad, along with the H6 upgrade should put more bias on the rear.

basically after I get new tires I'm going to focus on the braking ability of this car. It's alright as is, but I've found times where I needed more. Also trying to save those front rotors...starting to show signs of beginning to warp again at around 4k since resurfacing :squint:

the H6 brake upgrade alone will shift your brake bias, not exclusively the combination. Changing the compound will give you more friction overall but probably more dust/noise etc.

Having a good suspension setup will help also. If you have some springs and struts with higher rates it will prevent the car from diving and put more weight over the rear wheels.

Playing with different compound might be necessary since 80% of braking is done by front side. If you haven't, try to read these Stoptech's Tech papers. It will answer most of questions.

I also thinking about adding H6 rear brake to my car even though I have Stoptech BBK in the front. Hopefully, I won't destroy too much of brake bias with this setup.
