Good lord...I feel kind of retarded. Anyone have any tricks on removing the crank pulley bolt without having the Subaru tool? I am stumped and had my wife step on the brakes and everything. It seems though it has to load up and by the time it does, I can't go any further.
Put it into 5th and have her mash on the brakes. Or you could go ghetto and put a breaker bar on the ground...then crank the engine
Finally got it....I put it in 5th and had her step on the brakes. Worked like a charm. Thanks! Oh yeah, did I mention I had to get a 5ft long pipe to break the bolt?
