First off let me say no one was hurt. My wife was driving home from work last night when a Geo Prism failed to yield and ran into my wifes car. My wife was cruising around 45mph and I imagine the Geo was going 10-15 mph. She saw him at the last moment and slammed on the brakes but the outcome was unavoidable. I am very surprised how tough the Honda CRV is. The driver headlight is drooping a bit (it still works), the bumper is a slightly out of place and the corner panel is smushed in a little. The Geo...well lets just say it's down for the count. The front was completely crushed. It would not turn over at all and needed to be towed. Looks and sounds like its totalled. The CRV won that battle leaving with just a "black eye". I am just glad no one was hurt but I am also glad that we have been blessed with such a "safe" vehicle. Be safe out there guys. Drive defensively. Always keep your eyes open. You never know when someone is not paying attention.
oh thank God no..he was safe in his bed. It really scared me. Wife called me crying at almost midnight saying she was just in a car accident. Made me think of how fast things in life could change for the worst. I dont know what I'd do if something worse had happened
im glad it wasnt too bad... remember what wont kill u will only make u stronger... people who have survived accidents tend to become a lot safer and defensive on the road
Ohhhh that is never a good call, been there done that. Wife calls me at 2am crying to come get her, as she is not sober and wants to come home. Turns out one of her friends is sleeping with the husband of another and it all came out that night. Opps...
Glad everyone was okay man. I would freak if Celine and Fiona were in an accident. People tailgating me used to piss me off, now, I just speed up if I can or or pull over to let them by....
Good to hear that she's alright. Get her in an older F-150, I nailed a deer doing 50mph once and all it did was bend the front bumper mounts. I bet that it would hold up to anything in a crash.
