Trying to put together a slightly more aggressive budget friendly DD suspension for my 02wrx. I picked up a complete set of used 05 Sti strut assembly's front and rear: struts/springs/top hat's. The whole set up has 15k so very low mileage. I need to swap out the front struts with something compatible for the rest of the set up since the 05 Sti struts will not bolt on to the 02wrx knuckle assembly. I am thinking about 04 oem Sti struts. Any suggestions would be appreciated, (Big sways and end links are in the works as well).

I LOVE my new DD suspension. RCE Blacks with Tokico DSpec struts. I got the extenders so I can adjust the rears without having to take out the back seat.

I can attest to the dspecs also. Virually silent, easy adjustments, good control

If you don't have a wagon, D-specs seem to be THE best reasonably priced solution. I would have them on my car as well, if it were a sedan....

The trick to sedan struts on the wagon is the loss of some camber. Camber bolts fix that though.

The wagon solution is Koni inserts in wagon strut bodies.

Back to topic - for budget, I think the STI springs are good. Struts and sways, and rear endlinks are the next step.
