I'm in the middle of my new injector install and just got the passenger side green bracket off. In the process, I heard a SNAP! and sure enough, something broke. Question is, I don't know what this thing is.

This is what it looks like, and as you can see the plastic sides that screws go through broke off! Should I run over to SOG and get a new one?

correct me if I am wrong but I believe that it is one of the TGV sensors and yes you will need to replace it.

is that the top of one of the spark plug coils in your hand. if so then yes get a new one if the screw holes broke off then you can't reinstall it. if it's not what i think it is...well everyone can correct me now!

    Edit: I stand...well...corrected

Just a quick update, I got another one and it set me back $107!!! That was a costly mistake! At least everything works again. The VF34 is awesome, pulls strong in 3rd.

We all make mistakes, like the other day I was doing an oil change and radiator flush on an 06 wrx tr, well when I was putting the slippery napa filter(i prefer fram but it was my friends car) back on the oil wrench slipped and hit a coolant line that sits right next to the oil filter and coolant went everywhere, good thing we were on post at the auto shop and we were flushing the radiator anyway.
