Did I ruin my clutch?

So the back story is.... I had to back out onto a very busy road blind in both directions. When I got out there I noticed cars coming at me in both directions doing about 60 mph. I threw it in first and hit the gas, but the car didn't catch in its normal spot. It reved to about 6000rpm before I nearly dumped the clutch and it caught, but not drastically like it normally would if you had the rpm up that high and dumped it. I pulled off safely but the car wasn't catching in its normal spot. It drove fine for about 5 more min and I stopped it to play golf. 5 hours later I got in my car to go home and with every shift the car vibrates before it gets into gear. Once its in gear it drives fine, but between shifts in 1st through 4th it vibrates. If I drive it hard you can't really notice it, but during normal driving it is quite noticeable. It also has a burning smell. Any help would be great.

you probaly burnd your clutch a little and it crystalized. that's probaly what the vibration is.

So to update this. I let it cool down at my friends house for a few hours and just drove home. The vibration is now only in 2nd and not nearly as prominant as it was earlier. If it is glazed will it just fix itself eventually?

My girlfriend roasted my clutch last weekend...it has been a week now of normal driving and it is still jittery from a start. She really did a number on it though...my cabin stank for a good three days after...there is more to this story, but I would be thread jacking if I told it...plus I don't feel like typing all that.

This is the second time my clutch has been really badly burnt. The first time, I did it on a hill, and it took about 3 weeks to start feeling normal again.

It's been over a week and my clutch still jumps. Some days barely and some days it's really bad. I guess I'll give it another week or two before I take it in and spend a shit-ton of money.

I've never personally experienced the glazed clutch thing and this may be a really dumb suggestion, but what if you take the car out and try being somewhat hard on the clutch?

It may help get rid of the glazing and if your to the point your about to change the clutch it really couldn't hurt that much.
