A lot of people were talking about how the wed night g2gs have dropped off. I think a lot of this is because school is back in and Wed is busy. What do you all think about tomorrow (Tues 9/13) at Taco Mac (Crabapple) on Crossville Rd/Holcomb Bridge? address: 685 Crossville Rd. Ste 146 Roswell, GA 30075 Meeting time: 7:30pm Post here if you can make it. Hope to see a lot of you there! :wavey:
I would probably be interested in Frankie's on roswell road (probably mere also) I was thinking about going there anyway, as the s2katlanta club meets there at 6:30. -- Brian
I think Sidelines was a little out of the way for a lot of people since it's 5-6 more miles up 75. We'll mix it up if this tuesday thing takes off.... i'm basically trying to restart the wed night g2g's a day earlier.
Do you have another suggestion Alex? I just chose that because Frankie's seemed to be a favorite over summer. The other option I was thinking is Taco Mac on Holcomb Bridge.... but it's a ways out there still.
i agree last time i went i spent 50 bucks on me and the girl with no app or desert. too expensive. come to trivia night on the westside!
Where's the westside trivia JT? OR we could do it at 6:30 with the s2k club. It really doesn't matter to me. Post opinions and hopefully we'll come to a good consensus
Frankies is horribly overpriced and the food really is just so-so. I only went there over the summer (obviously, not with the club), b/c a buddy of mine (the other other Alex) worked there. Now that he's back in school outwest, there's no point. I'll go wherever, but I may just eat before hand or something. Whatever, I'm flexible and just a social butterfly
Haha. ok then. What's on the West Side? Mere, Brian, JT? Suggestions? We're alwyas up north, never west or east.
if we want a sports bar place then that limits it a lot. Personally I think El Amigo is a prime candidate :keke: thoughts Alex?? Seriously though. What about Chili's at Toco Hills off of North Druid?
Brian and i eat at this place called roasters off of cobb parkway. It pretty much is at the intersection of 75 and 285. They place has fairly good food for the price, it's mostly chicken, with some bbq. The cobb parkway/cumberland parkway location is usually vacant at night. I don't know how good their beer selection is. http://www.roastersrotisserie.com/index.html
Roasters looks good, but it's still $10+ for most things decent, closer to 15 for ribs and such. If BBQ sounds good, what about Williamson Bros ($8.49 all you can eat, and it's pretty tasty :tasty: ). It's a half mile east of the big chicken on Roswell Rd, where Paces Ferry ends. 1425 Roswell Road Marietta, GA 30062 Or, if people don't mind the hike, we can try to get Dan out to one of these with the Taco Mac (Crabapple) on Holcomb Bridge: 685 Crossville Rd. Ste 146 Roswell, GA 30075 I'll post the final location once some people respond
Williamson Bros is across the street from Sidelines, Taco Mac is the same one we went to when half of the people went to the wrong one. If you remember the kids hanging out in the parking lot and the girl who made her boyfriend drive back to see the cars... that taco mac. Hope that answers your question
For a) beer selection, b) price, c) Dan, I'm going to say let's meet at Taco Mac Crabapple. First post updated with address. Meeting time 7:30. Hope to see lots of you there!! Next week *cross fingers* we'll come back south/west.
Which taco mac is the one off crab apple? I know the ones on windward pwky and old milton. And thanks for conscidering me but we can go anywhere lol Dan
It's at the intersection of King Rd and Crossville Rd (Holdomb Bridge). You should be able to mapquest to address above or just take exit 7B (Holdomb Bridge west) and go a few miles, it's on the right side of the road. They have good food, good prices, and 103 beers on tap :wiggle:
ill try and make it but i probably cant get there before 10 so maybe some people will still be around.
