HEY WRXA! Heres a question... my car WILL PASS EMISSIONS, if someone out there knows how to lean out the MS system in the VE table area fro idle to 3000k rpm range.... I will pay for someone to come to an emissions place ( I have 20 days free) and the guy is willing to let me in as many times as needed to pass legally! It passed last year with flying colors with the same ecu and the same specs! Just someone who is familiar with this to help ! 678-357-7239! I need it done today or tommorow or ASAP!!
What EXACTLY caused it to fail this time? NOx? Hydrocarbon? If it was NOx, reducing timing a little will help more than leaning it out... Siegel
the original tune last year, we just leaned out the ve table, and it passed this year, when it was tuned, it failed because of 429 HC PPM out of 200 and that was it, then I had it retuned and it failed by 2000 HC PPM and the IDLE level of HCPmm
scott, if you can get it to pass, I can bring the printout of emissions to forged.. but how much would u charge.... this thing has been a nightmare also, I have an MS1 system that was built by a beginner, it was fixed .. while it was fucked up, i bought a megasquirt 2 system.. is it a whole different harness to install or what? I know I can get more power and reliability out of the ms2 system also, I haven't done anything to the subaru since we spoke.. School tuition was hiked and my money went to school instead! I have gotten the wiring fixed from Batlground because they were the ones who touched it the first time, so the wiring was redone.. that was it oh, I did find out, the transmission is a v5 sti transmission... my new plan is: to break 300+ whp.... what do i need to do
