Seems that I been having some issues with my car this month. lol Does this looks all right? I mean does the oxygen sensor is supposed to sit really close to the driveshaft? The CEL is on, the cruise control is disabled. I had someone check the cel sometime ago. And the code was about the boost solenoid. Only mod on the car is the invidia v2 downpipe ( no cat) and the invidia g200 catback system. I dont have any o2 eliminator or the cel fix to solve my problem. The o2 eliminator or spark plug non-fouler does not fit in the downpipe, otherwise it will touch the driveshaft. Unless there's another downpipe in which the o2 is connected on the side instead of being under the driveshaft. is the downpipe causing the boost solenoid to fail for any reason or is it because I dont have any cats on the exhaust? Help from you guys. I did my research, maybe it wasnt good enough and I though you guys would give me a hand on this.
boost solenoid sounds to me like you had boost creep/spike and/or hit boost cut and the CEL came on. I could be wrong, just my first guess. As for the dowpipe, yeah that doesn't look normal.99% of the downpipes i have seen, even my cheap EBAY one has the O2's mounted on the side.....
