SOG replaced my stocker with a Cobb catted DP this afternoon. Everything else on the car is stock, including EM. Even with the stock 06 ECU mapping, there is a very noticeable increase in pwr on the butt dyno. I guess I didn't expect that. One other thing I do notice (and I'm sure the car is still sorting out the mod) is that boost has more of an on/off switch effect now, versus a slower build before the pipe swap.

Anyhow...For those of you sitting on the fence with this particular mod, I recommend it. Next week is AP Stg2 protune with Scott S. Will be interesting to see what that yields.

How much did you pay for the DP??? Did you modify your current heatshield or go aftermarket???

Pipe was $575. Yes, I know Cobb is not the cheapest DP around, but I liked the position of the cat (not in the neck of the pipe), in addition to the cast SS bellmouth. SOG trimmed the stock heatshield to fit the wider bellmouth.
