I don't know if we can get some sort of corral setup like we did at Petite Le Mans, but that may be something to look into. (Maybe Batlground can help out on that )

oh I'm gonna try my hardest to make this again this year...so much fun!! Is batlground gonna be in this one?

 

drift atlanta is a fun event. ive been once two years ago. i will def. try to make it out to this one

This year its $22 or $27 dollars for one day or two days respectively. But maybe someone with connections can hook us all up...:sx:

hehehe that would be soo nice..:sx: :sx: i never knew you guys had a meet there, but i guess that's because i didnt have my car last year. i am definitely going to be there, but i dunno about taking my car up there, because there are soo many crazy ppl and very limited space. But damn, May is officially my favorite month to date!

 

if im there in time id like to go. I plan to bring the drift car out in the near future also

Ill be out there with a few of my Rx7 buddies in my STi

 

Shout for the DriftMB guys. If you see a S13 240 and a Lexus GS300 drifting with DriftMB on the sides of the car shout for them.....they are personal friends of mine. 240 guy (name is Marshall) is nuts if he has a good day. He drifts the MB Speedway oval at 80 mph! My butt would be all in the wall.....haha

I shot a short documentary on drifting when they did southern fried slide at Turner Field. I interviewed Marshall and the Lexus guy, they are from Myrtle Beach right?

Is the GS an auto? If so I saw that guy a couple years ago. You could tell that the slushbox was making drifting very difficult.

As it turns out, I will be at the event, but may not be able to meet up with you all. I'll be working as a marshal this weekend, but I'm not sure what the times are yet.

I may stop by the tent if you do, but likely I'll try to hang out with a few friends going.

 

Drift is usually so freaking unorganized when it comes to parking, its rediculous. It took me 4 hours 2 years ago just to get from 10A/B to the exit

 

yeah I remember that, they were having a burnout contest with a video camera. They asked me if I wanted to try with me in a 4cyl accord :squint:

Pissed me off when I realized thats what I had spent all this time waiting for.


I meant a tent down near the fence to sit under though.

 

A tent would be nice if the weather is hot. I don't own a big tent like that though.

 

Supposed to be partly cloudy on Fri and a good chance of rain on Sat.....

Some of my friends were tryin to get a tent, grill, beers, etc together. Might have to add umbrellas to that list

Did we designate a time/place to meet up or were we deciding against that?
