I just saw first hand one of the bad results of high gas prices a few minutes ago. I went to the quickie mart to pick up milk and as I pulled in a Ford truck at the pumps took off right at me, he swerved missing me by inches, then dodged through the pumps the other way and hit the road. The guy inside came running out to try to get the tag number but I don’t think he got it even though I had temporarily block the escape path. According to him that was $74 bucks gone just like that.
I’m just glad he missed me. Even though I was in the truck I’d hate to have to fix it because of someone trying to get away with gas. If he was stealing gas I doubt he was even insured..

what a dumb ass. I've seen this happen before. What they do is go somewhere crowded and pick a corner pump. Fill up the tank and then put the nozzle on the ground as to not stop the transaction buy the time the worker relizese no one is pumping any more gas the car is gone.

QT's have no cameras, and most places that have them have very low quility because they use the same tapes over and over.

    Sad...

I am glad that you are OK!!. That could have been a major injury or worse. I can't believe that they don't have cameras. Take Care, and I hope all is well.
