sup guys.. did a search on a couple different forums but i didn't really find anything:hsugh:..

the car is a 2006 STi.. the driver side window stopped working a while ago.. i took the door cards out to see if any wires had been unplugged.. everything seems to be connected.. The question i have is how do i find out of my window switches are bad or if i have a bad window motor.. keep in mind all other windows are working.. any advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance!

the window stopped working in october but i didnt fix it then since it was starting to get cold out... its getting kinda warm out and i wanna get this fixed asaP!

A quick and easy way to check the switches is to swap out a known good switch from one of your other doors and see if the window works, if it does you know it is the switch.

If you have a test light, you can also check for power and ground at the window motor harness, if there is power and ground at the harness then chances are the motor is bad.

Not really, but a good source for used parts is http://car-parts.com

It is a nation wide cross-referenced database of salvage yards. I have gotten some great deals from this site in the past.
