ATLANTA -- Police say they found drugs, cash, weapons and pornography during a raid on a local rap music recording studio.

Eight people, including 28-year old Anthony Blalock, CEO of "Making Big Moves" records, were arrested.

One of the suspects is a member of the group "Dem Franchize Boyz" who recorded the hit song "Lean Wit It."

Police swept into the recording studio last night after receiving a tip drugs were being sold at the facility at 982 Memorial Drive.

Officers say the suspects saw the raid unfolding on surveillance cameras at the studio and tried to flush some of the evidence down the toilet.

"They were in the bathroom and they were trying to flush a lot of the drugs down the toilet," Atlanta Police Officer Richard Light told Channel 2 Action News.

"They just had too much and couldn't flush it all down."

Police say they confiscated more than 11 pounds of marijuana, $150,000 in cash, two handguns and a stack of pornography.

    So help me with this:

Person A finds 50lbs of pot but no coke.
Person B finds 40lbs and 3kg of coke.

Everyone knows that a vanity hold 50lbs of pot AND 3kgs of coke. To me it looks like we have one person who kept a little coke and one who kept some pot. ;)

That's what I was thinking. That somebody's gonna get effed up over that stuff.

I kind of think the rap industry has brought that kind of thing on itself though with all the talk about illegal stuff. It was only a matter of time before the news that a lot of rappers are totally open and brag about illegal stuff trickled into higher ups of the drug units and law enforcement in general.

but I mean...seriously, how does a stack of porn compare to 11+ lbs of bud. I fail to see the correlation.

Porn isn't illegal for of-age people, but it can be considered cause for concern I think.

i dunno dude, it just helps the media complete their picture of delinquency. because you know people who like sex are up to no good.

legal porn would be cause for what concern? said inhabitants like to fuck?
